“苏格兰国际奖学金”是由苏格兰政府设立的国际奖学金，数额高达54万英镑，包括学费、一次国际往返机票和生活费。入学条件：25-35岁，有至少3年工作经验，雅思总分不低于6.5分，单项不低于6分等。目前，提供给中国学生的名额已由9名增加到了11名。

　　入选资格

　　年龄在25-35岁之间的中国大陆公民

　　至少拥有相关专业的本科学士学位

　　本科毕业后有至少三年全职相关工作经验

　　申请人必须持有苏格兰院校的有条件或无条件的录取通知书

　　能熟练的运用英语(IELTS 6.5)

　　目前未在英国学习或工作

　　申请人以前未获得任何其他英国政府奖学金资助

　　申请人在申请苏格兰国际奖学金的同时不能取得其它奖学金项目的支持

　　必须向苏格兰院校申请一年的讲授式研究生课程， 科技,金融或者创意产业(包括艺术，设计，文化等领域)将被优先考虑

　　奖学金对以下学科不予以考虑:MBA,药学，牙医及兽医学

　　苏格兰国际奖学金的申请将实行网上报名。面试将安排在申请人

　　所在国的英国大使馆文化教育处。接到面试通知的申请人在面试时需提交：

　　1.最多三份苏格兰院校的无条件或有条件的录取通知书

　　2.两份用信头纸填写并有推荐人签字并封好的推荐信

　　3.学位证书，成绩单以及符合研究生入学要求的IELTS成绩单

　　4.个人身份证明，身份证或护照

　　You must meet the following criteria to apply:

　　a permanent resident of India, People's Republic of China, (Mainland China only) and be in your home country at the time of application

　　aged between 25 and 35 years old at the time of application

　　have 3 - 5 years full-time relevant work experience post first degree graduation

　　applicants must already hold a conditional/unconditional MSc offer from an institution in Scotland

　　demonstrate a good working level of English (IELTS 6.5 / certificate may be required)

　　not currently working or studying in the UK

　　not in receipt of any other scholarships or award for the academic year 2008/9

　　hold a good first degree in a related subject from a recognised university

　　applicants who have previously received a British Government funded award or scholarship are not eligible to apply

　　applicants who have been selected for interview will be invited to attend at a British Council office in their own country.

　　If you are selected for interview you will be required to submit original certificates/transcripts including IELTS certificate (if required by the university). Original offer letter from Scottish educational institution.

　　You will also need personal identification e.g. passport together with references from the two named referees on letter headed paper (signed, dated and with an official seal)
