英国《泰晤士报高等教育副刊》3月6日公布了2014年世界大学学术声誉排行榜，哈佛大学、麻省理工学院和斯坦福大学分列榜单前三甲。世界大学学术声誉排行榜是《泰晤士报高等教育副刊》世界大学排行榜的“子榜”，是根据各大学在教学和科研领域的表现确定的。而一年一度的《泰晤士报高等教育副刊》世界大学排行榜的评定指标多达13个，除教学和科研之外，还包括论文引用情况、科研成果转化收入以及国际化程度等。

其他上榜的中国高等院校还包括香港大学(第43位)、香港科技大学(第51-60位)、台湾大学(第51-60位)和香港中文大学(第81-90位)。
